A small beginning.
A growing story.从家中起步，
一步一步成长。

Our founder comes from a family with around four decades of experience in seafood importing and wholesaling. That familiarity with the trade became the foundation for her own venture: Great Ocean Dried Seafood. Today, the brand is operated by Great Ocean Heritage Foods Sdn Bhd.创办人的家族从事海味进口与批发约四十年。这份对行业的熟悉，成为她创立Great Ocean Dried Seafood（大洋海味）的基础。如今，品牌由Great Ocean Heritage Foods Sdn Bhd运营。

Encouraged by her family, she began selling from home in 2017. The early selection included dried scallops, dried oysters, fish maw, mushrooms, red dates and goji berries.2017年，在家人的鼓励下，她从家中开始经营。最初的产品包括干贝、蚝干、花胶、香菇、红枣与枸杞。

Facebook posts helped us reach our first customers, before we gradually expanded onto e-commerce platforms, adding more everyday ingredients and gifting choices along the way.我们通过Facebook分享产品，认识第一批顾客，随后逐步拓展至电商平台，并增加更多日常食材与送礼选择。

    Great Ocean Dried Seafood began at home, sharing dried seafood and ingredients through Facebook.Great Ocean Dried Seafood（大洋海味）从家中起步，通过Facebook分享干海味与食材。

  2. 2019

    We moved into our first dedicated premises as the business grew.随着业务成长，我们迁入了首个独立营业空间。

  3. 2020

    We expanded into an additional unit to support growing online demand.为应对不断增长的线上需求，我们扩展至另一个单位。

  4. 2021–today至今

    We moved into a larger warehouse in Klang, where we continue to operate today.我们迁入巴生更大的仓库，并持续经营至今。

We select our ingredients carefully, cleaning or cooking samples where needed before repacking them for sale. We consider both the ingredient itself and how customers will use it in their kitchens.我们用心挑选食材，并按需要进行清理或抽样试煮，再分装销售。除了食材本身，我们也重视顾客在厨房里如何使用它。
