杏仁的功效及作用：

　　1、镇咳、平喘作用

　　苦杏仁中含有苦杏仁苷，苦杏仁苷在体内能被肠道微生物酶或苦杏仁本身所含的苦杏仁酶水解，产生微量的氢氰酸与苯甲醛，对呼吸中枢有抑制作用，达到镇咳、平喘作用。
